Bobble Hats for Bottles: A Woolly Way to Give Back This Christmas 🎁
This Christmas, something wonderfully woolly is happening at The Cow Shed! Our milk bottles are getting a seasonal makeover thanks to a team of talented volunteers who are knitting adorable bobble hats to raise money for charity.
Each hat is lovingly handmade, transforming our fresh milk bottles into festive characters that bring joy to every fridge. From classic red-and-white Santa styles to quirky pom-pom creations, these tiny toppers are more than just cute—they’re a symbol of community kindness.
For every bottle sold wearing a bobble hat, we will make a donation to St Wilfrid’s Hospice which is an independent, local charity that has been supporting people in our community who are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness for over 35 years.
We need more knitters!
How You Can Help
If you are dab hand with a pair of knitting or crochet needles, then we would love to receive your handmade hats for our bottles and make a difference to a person or family experiencing a different kind of Christmas this year.
Below is an easy to follow pattern for you to create a cute little bottle hat…
